Trying to set up a group booking for our field trip was such a headache. It took forever, and every time I asked a question, it felt like I was being passed to someone else who didn’t really know who was supposed to handle it. Nobody seemed to own the process, so I kept having to repeat myself and chase down basic answers.

I had a really nice experience here. The staff was friendly and helped us find everything we needed, which made the whole visit easy and stress-free. I left feeling really satisfied with the service...

I was happy with how well they kept everyone updated about what areas were closed and where construction was happening. It made planning our visit a lot easier, or at least it definitely felt that way. I’m glad they keep the site updated instead of leaving people to just figure it out once they get there.

I took my kids to Caldwell Zoo, i felt really comfortable the whole time we were there. As a parent, I’m always a little extra aware of the surroundings when we’re out somewhere busy, but the staff was easy to spot, the paths were clean, and everything felt well looked after. Even the parking area felt fine, which I always appreciate when I’m juggling kids and bags. No weird moments or concerns at all, just a calm, relaxed day together

We went for the holiday lights and caught a keeper talk while we were there. The kids had a great time, and it felt easy to do without being too crowded. I sometimes wonder if I’m just easily impressed when the kids are happy, but it really did feel like a fun seasonal outing.

They had a nice mix of animals, and most of them were easy to spot, which the kids absolutely loved. It was really fun being able to see so many up close. That said, a couple of things felt a bit off during the visit, and it kind of made me trust the place a little less than I expected. Still a good day overall, but I walked away with mixed feelings.

I bought our tickets on caldwellzoo.org before we went, and the whole thing was simple. Checkout was quick, and I didn’t run into any confusing steps or issues.

When we got to the zoo, getting in was just as easy. They scanned the tickets from my phone, and we were inside within a couple of minutes.

It made the start of the day a lot calmer, especially with kids who were ready to get moving. I’d probably buy the tickets online again next time

I did end up finding a spot, so it wasn’t a total problem, but I expected parking to be a little easier. The lot was crowded, and it took a bit longer than I thought it would

I was trying to look up some simple details on the site, like hours and pricing, and it ended up being more of a hassle than I expected. The site felt a little clunky on my phone, so I had to tap around more than I really wanted to, and then some of the information I found didn’t seem to line up with what I saw later elsewhere. In the end, I still had to call just to confirm the basics, which kind of defeats the purpose of checking online in the first place. Not the end of the world, but definitely a bit annoying.

We went to Caldwell Zoo with the family and overall it was a okay visit. Most of the walking paths and viewing areas were clean, which I appreciated, and I don’t remember seeing much trash around. Funny how that’s one of the first things you notice when you’re with kids. Some of the bathrooms could’ve used a little more attention, though, and a few spots around the zoo looked kind of worn down. Nothing terrible, just one of those places where some areas feel well kept and others feel like they’ve been overlooked for a bit. Still, we had a decent time.

We had such a good time at the keeper talks and live presentations. The staff made everything really easy to understand, and my kids actually stayed interested the whole time, which says a lot! It made the zoo visit feel more personal and fun. I’d definitely recommend catching a few if you go.

We went to Caldwell Zoo last weekend, and I’m telling you, it is absolutely one of the easier zoos to get around. The paths were clean, nice and wide, and the signs made it basically impossible to get lost. Parking was close too, which was a huge win before we even got inside.
The only reason I’d stick with 4 stars is that there are a few little hills that could definitely be annoying if you’ve got a stroller or any mobility issues. Nothing dramatic at all, but you’ll notice them for sure. Overall though, it’s a really nice zoo and a super comfortable place for a slow, easy walk.

We took our kids to Caldwell Zoo and had a really nice time. I’m particular about family outings being clean, safe, and not overly exhausting, and this place checked those boxes for us. It was easy to walk around, not too huge, and there was plenty for the kids to see without them getting tired too quickly. The staff we spoke with were friendly, and the whole zoo felt well kept. My youngest was completely obsessed with the giraffes. Definitely a good weekend family spot, and we’ll be going back.

I went to Caldwell Zoo last weekend and, honestly... I was impressed. A lot of the habitats looked clean and spacious, and the animals seemed calm, not stressed out. I noticed staff walking around, checking on things, and answering questions too. It really felt like they put thought into giving the animals shade, water, and quieter places to relax. Overall, it made the visit feel good... not depressing like some zoos can

We went on a weekend i was expecting it to be way more of a hassle. But the lines moved fast, parking was simple, and we never felt crammed into big crowds. I’m blaming whoever runs this place for actually keeping things organized. It made for a really nice zoo day.

I’m probably a little biased because I love browsing gift shops, but this one had way more stuff than I expected. The prices were reasonable too, which was a nice surprise. My kids picked out a few little things and left happy, so I’d call that a win

We had my kid’s birthday party here and the kids had a really good time. The staff was helpful for the most part, though I kind of wish a few things had been explained a little better upfront. Still, everyone left happy, and I’d probably book it again.

We got a family membership for Caldwell Zoo, it’s been alright. The free visits and discounts are nice, and after a couple trips it basically paid for itself, so I can’t really complain about that part.
The annoying part is managing it online. I don’t know who set up the website, but finding renewal details and figuring out what’s actually included takes way more clicking around than it should. The staff helped when I asked, so that was good, but the website is definitely the thing making the membership feel more average than it needs to

My first impression was that the zoo was really nice and well kept, and we enjoyed walking around. That said, once we got through it, the admission price felt a little high for what we actually got to see. Still a pleasant visit overall, just wish it felt like a better value.

We went to Caldwell Zoo the signs made a bigger difference than I expected. The maps were clear, the paths were easy to follow, and even with the kids trying to sprint ahead every five seconds, we never really felt lost. The whole place has a nice, simple layout, which made the visit way less stressful. Weirdly, I still remember one sign near a trash can that had a little smudge on the corner, but we still knew exactly where to go.
